Triple B Ranch
Fall River: This is a working horse ranch and training facility. They have recently
started offering trailrides. I have ridden many areas in Kansas and this
ranch offers very unique terrain. For those familiar with the Flint Hills
in Kansas this ranch combines the beauty of the rolling hills with Oak tree
groves. We rode up to an old homestead on the property and found a stone
foundation in another area of the property. There were creeks to cross,
large pastures to ride around and several ponds for fishing as well as
widlife of all kinds, Deer, Turkey and Quail that we saw and others we only
heard.

Mills Ranch
This is a privately owned 3500 acre Cattle Ranch that is open to trail riders. Located in South Central KS in
the Gypsum Hills the riding is spectacular. Horses and wagons are welcome. There is a marked trail along the
Mulberry Creek, this trail leads the rider to the NE corner of the pasture, from there you can ride off along
the border fence, follow a cattle trail up, down or around the bluffs or ride back to camp on the wagon road.
There are several directions that one can head out of camp, the camp is roughly located in the middle of the
property, 3 miles from the black top road. The drive into camp is on a good road with no trouble passing in
any kind of weather, we should know, we've been there during a few gully-washers and have never had trouble
getting in/out with or without our trailer. Rigs of all sizes are welcome, camping is primative (generators
are allowed), horse water is available, there is an outhouse near camp and horse pens are available on a first
come first serve basis (if he pens are all full you can picket or put up a portable pen), the hosts are always
willing to accomodate.
Nearest town is Sun City (10 min), nearest town with services (Gas/Grocery) is Medicine Lodge (30 min). Ride
on your own or ride with the hosts, they are always willing to saddle up and ride if they know you are coming.
