North Dakota

North Dakota has no specific requirement for certified weed free forage, but some state, and most federal agency managed lands in the state have this requirement. BLM, US Forest Service, National Park Service as well as ND Parks and Recreation Department all require the use of weed free forage.
It is always wise to check with the agency prior to your visit to get the lastest information on their specific requirements. Most of them have a list of vendors close to their land with certified weed free forage for sale.
Producers who have forage available are listed on the Department website at www.agdepartment.com . You can also call as the haying season progresses to get the new ones prior to them being listed.
